Ben Doney

Head Teaching Professional

Ben is a Certified PGA Professional with over 19 years’ experience in the golf industry. As well he is a former PGA Tour Rules Official and spent over 14 years on Fox Sports Golf Show as a presenter representing PGA Professionals.

Ben enjoys coaching golfers of all levels with a major focus on playing lessons and getting the most out of your game. Lessons are also available using the latest in golf technology including Trackman and V1 Video analysis software.

Glenn W Knott

Golf Operations Manager

Glenn is a member of the Australian PGA and spent the last 18 years at Pymble Golf Club and 6 years as Head Professional before joining THGCC.

He can help you with all your golf enquiries, whether it be a question about the rules of golf or how to perfect your swing. His calm practical demeanour, along with his wealth of knowledge will have your handicap down in no time.

Glenn has over 25 years of teaching experience conducting private and group lessons. Full swing and short game lessons are available as well as on course coaching.

Peter Thomas

Assistant Golf Operations Manager

Pete is a member of the Australian PGA.

PGA qualification along with his qualification in Personal Training, allows him the opportunity to offer a unique assessment of golf swing and fitness.

Peter enjoys on-course tuition to see what’s really happening out on the fairways.


Golf Operations Supervisor

Claudia has a fine pedigree including her scholarship to The Ohio State University from 2012-2015, a Degree in Sports Management and Graduate certificate in Strength and Conditioning.

She has represented NSW and AUS and managed the 2018 NSW women’s state team.

She is a terrific addition to the THGCC teaching and Golf Shop team and enjoys coaching and helping people improve in all aspects of their game.



Lachlan Robinson

Associate PGA Professional

Lachlan completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the widely respected University of Technology, Sydney. His expertise is understanding your body’s bio mechanics, making a detailed assessment of your golf swing and how your technique can be improved.

 Lachlan also believes that learning good course management is a great tool to lowering scores and he enjoys sharing his tips and tricks out on the golf course.
