The 2019 NSW Amateur Championship returns to Sydney with Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club and Mona Vale Golf Club hosting the 121 year-old Championship from 21 to 25 January.

Terrey Hills is set up as a real championship challenge and very popular amongst the players. It will be the second time in three years that Terrey Hills has hosted the prestigious event.

This is a significant international competition, with over 160 players representing Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Korea, England, Germany, Singapore and many more countries.

All players compete across both courses on Monday and Tuesday before moving into the match play schedule.

The Women’s NSW Amateur is a Golf Australia Order of Merit and R&A World Amateur Ranking Event. It is for players of any age and is played over 36-holes stroke play with the leading 16 players qualifying for elimination match play.

The Men’s NSW Medal & Amateur is a Golf Australia Order of Merit and R&A World Amateur Ranking Event. It is for players of any age and is played over 36-holes stroke play (NSW Medal), with the leading 32 players progressing to elimination match play (NSW Amateur).

The Men’s tournament is one of our major national amateur tournaments and is a National and World Ranking Event.

Members and visitors are invited to come up and watch some of the best golfers and the future of our sport.
